RPC launches new convenience packaging solution for food applications

RPC Bebo UK has introduced a selection of new packs in both polypropylene (PP) and PET, which can be used for several products.

The company has launched 60mm diameter PP pot in different sizes, including 45ml, 60ml and 75ml. The new pots can be used for dips, salads, fruit pieces and snack meals.

With a 220ml brimful capacity per cavity, the compartment Snap PP tray has been developed to serve as a convenient multi-pack solution for both food and non-food applications.

The four compartments can be easily separated for individual servings, in addition to stacking in a cupboard.

According to the company, the packs can be specified in different materials, including monolayer PP or ultra-high clarity PPure and barrier PP/EVOH/PP for long ambient shelf-life products.

The packs are suitable for direct food contact, hot filling and high temperature processes such as sterilisation and pasteurization.

In addition, the company is providing special grades for microwave cooking and reheating applications.

The Z101mm diameter straight sided PET container is available in 198ml, 262ml, 294ml and 391ml sizes.

The container can be used for various types of food applications, including chilled products. Subject to minimum order quantities, the containers can be specified in coloured PET or off-set printed.

Different types of lids are available for the container, which is suitable for direct food contact applications.
